MATHANGWANE: Tutume Lutheran Church pastor Keoagile Sebeelo has warned other clergymen to desist from turning their churches into their harems, saying such Casanova behaviour could only encourage the spread of the HIV virus. Different churches in the Tutume Sub-District gathered at Mathangwane village on Friday for closing of month-long prayers for rain and the stop of HIV/AIDS.

In his remarks, Sebeelo, who is also the chairperson of Ministers Fraternal, said it had become common for church priests to have many sexual partners within their churches and warned them that it spread the HIV virus.

"It happens in most of the churches even though people are secretive about these issues. Pastors are having sexual relationships with many female worshippers, and this kind of behavior spreads the virus," he said.
