Cervical Cancer Vaccine pilots in S/Phikwe

SELEBI-PHIKWE: A cervical cancer vaccine that is targeted at school going girls aged between nine and 13 years-old is expected to start in Selebi-Phikwe next month, said mayor Tebogo Matlhogonolo.

Matlhogonolo was addressing the Selebi-Phikwe Town Council this week where he stated that the vaccine would be rolled out to the rest of the country in 2017.

The mayor explained to the councillors that the focus age group is young girls doing primary school from standard 5, 6 to 7.
