MAUN: One man is in custody and another in the wind after suspected cattle rustlers brutally beat two farm workers to death on Sunday night in the Hainaveldt farms area. The attackers accused their alleged victims of being police informants.

Police, who have launched a manhunt for the other suspect, say the assailants are believed to be cattle rustlers from Hainaveldt farms, which are located about 130 kilometres from Maun.

Ngamiland Integrated Farmers Association chairperson, Simon Bojosi told Mmegi that the two attackers are believed to be behind the rampant cattle rustling in the area. He said the incident has shocked the farming community.
