Caregivers to benefit from new disabled law

NEW XADE: The Assistant Minister of Presidential Affairs and Public Administration, Gaotlhaetse 'GUS' Matlhabaphiri, has said the government plans to introduce a law to provide benefits to the disabled and their caregivers.

He told New Xade residents recently that soon, government will table a bill in Parliament with intentions to bestow the benefits from the next financial year.

“The government will not only be committed to people with disabilities but even their caregivers,” Matlhabaphiri said.
