BTU In Move To Buy Members Out Of Dual-Membership

Botswana Teachers Union (BTU) on Saturday called on all teachers to dump their trade unions and decamp to the oldest teachers’ organisation.

Ibo Kenosi, BTU general secretary also appealed to other teachers unions to disband and join the BTU, as in his view, none other than theirs have the membership to boast of.

Speaking at the organisation’s inaugural road show held in Gantsi on Saturday, Kenosi said BTU is ready to buy out any dual-membership holders and assist taking over debts accumulated due to borrowing from more than one trade unions’ financial partners.
