The inaugural Botswana Security and Fire Summit (BSFS) was held at BA ISAGO University Convention Centre last week on Wednesday and Thursday under the theme, 'Collaborative Approach for a Safe and Secure Nation.'

The summit grouped key players in the security and fire industry for collaboration as Botswana strives to move towards peace, governance and safety, as outlined in the National Vision 2036 pillar. The purpose of the summit was to unite all the facets of business engaged in security, safety and occupational health and risk.

The event widened the narrow perspective of security that only thinks of security personnel.

The Projects Magazine today launched The Future of Mining Summit, set to become the country’s premier mining conference. The event is scheduled for 12th and 13th of June 2024, at Boipuso Hall, Fairgrounds in Gaborone.
