BR receives last batch of coaches

The delivery brings to a conclusion a deal of 37 coaches, 22 of which were delivered on March 22, 2016. The 15 coaches comprise; five first class sleeper, one business class, one buffer car, one power car, six standard classes and one luggage van.

According to BR public relations officer Kebabonye Morewagae, the first class, business class, buffet car and power car were manufactured at Salt River Factory in Cape Town while the standard classes and the luggage van were manufactured at Koedoespoort factory in Pretoria.
