BPC staff forced to work under bad smell

The Minister of Minerals, Energy and Water Resources Kitso Mokaila stated that BPC engaged a company to fumigate/spray the offices with Chlorpyrifos insecticide on the weekend of May 12 to 13 last year, but when employees reported for work on Monday the smell was still there and strong.
“The employees reported the matter to the head office in Gaborone, but the Human Resource Department ordered them to work in the office or face disciplinary action that included dismissals,” Mokaila told Parliament.
