Boyfriend up for 'threatening to kill' girlfriend

FRANCISTOWN: A man of Tonota village was arraigned in court this week in relation to allegedly threatening to kill his girlfriend.

The 47-year-old Tikologo Moremi allegedly uttered, “I am going to kill you before judgement in the matter before the court is delivered” or words to that effect to Gosegomang Ramanganeng on April 1, 2021, in Tonota.

The police said that the words Moremi allegedly uttered are concerning another incident in which Moremi allegedly chopped both of Ramanganeng's legs with an axe last year rendering her wheelchair-bound.
