Boipuso Hall was a scene of triumph and pride on Friday (October 24) as Botho University capped 776 graduates who completed various programmes ranging from certificate, diploma, bachelor's degree, and master’s degree levels.

The event celebrated resilience and ambition under the theme, 'Today you celebrate achievement; tomorrow, you carry the torch of impact. The world awaits your brilliance'.

Of the graduates, 346 completed online and distance learning, whilst 330 studied through campus learning, representing the university’s strong dual model of access and innovation. Speaking at the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Dr Sheela Raja Ram reminded graduates that education is a lifelong compass. “Your education is not a ticket to a job. It is a ticket to life. Keep learning, questioning, and doing,” she said, applauding the perseverance of all students, especially the 434 women, including 144 postgraduate graduates, and urging employers to promote gender equity.
