The BOT50 committee has promised to make their audit report public once the celebrations are done. BOT50 coordinator, Charity Kgotlafela said this recently at one of the weekly meetings with the media.

Kgotlafela was quizzed on how they have been spending their P100 million budget.  She said: “I am not in a position to share that at the moment. We are currently at the implementing stage. We are busy executing the projects we set out to do.  At this stage I cannot say we have spent this much on this and that”.

However, the controversy-ridden committee said they would make the report public. “After the celebrations we will compile a report on how we spent the budget. There are no secrets; we will share the documents with the public,” Kgotlafela promised.
