BOSETU congress postponed

Botswana Sectors of Educators Trade Union (BOSETU) has postponed its fourth congress to August 12-15 due to logistical problems, Publicity Secretary Mogomotsi Motshegwa has said.

The congress, which was billed for last Thursday until today, did not take place because authorities at the venue,  Mmadinare Senior Secondary School, said it was too soon to have the convention there as schools have just reopened.

Usually the conference is held during school vacations, but the schedule was disrupted by the April-June public service strike.
