BONASW drills young social workers

Botswana National Association of Social Workers (BONASW) held a two-day youth leadership training over the weekend to develop leadership in the profession.

The training was held under the theme: 'Steering quality leadership among young social workers in Botswana'. It was meant to help social workers to acquire or augment their leadership skills.

Speaking at the training, Keitseope Ntlhomang from Department of Social Work at the University of Botswana  (UB) said it is very important to have leadership skills. He explained that to be great, one needs the goods to be a role model, knowledgeable in their fields and worthy of respect.
