Boko's motion of no confidence thrown out

Parliament has this afternoon thrown out a motion of no confidence on the President Mokgweetsi Masisi brought by Leader of Opposition Duma Boko.

Thirty five MPs voted against the motion following the debates while 11 voted for Masisi to vacate the office. Three did not take part in the voting.

Boko had moved a motion which called on the House to pass a motion of no confidence on Masisi who had just reached 100 days in office as the President on Monday after ascending to the presidency on April 1, 2018.
