Boko picks Gaolathe as VP

President Duma Boko has picked 52-year old Ndaba Gaolathe as his Vice President designate.

Gaolathe is also Boko's deputy at the coalition Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC). He is the president of the Alliance for Progressives (AP).

Last week Gaolathe won the Gaborone Bonnnington North parliamentary seat from the man who took it from him back in 2019, Christian Greef of thr Botswana Democratic Party (BDP).

“He has a way of calming me and everyone else around him. He has the calm effect,” President Boko said when making the announcement this afternoon at the official handing over of Government.
