BNFYL allege sabotage after flop of rally

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Botswana National Front Youth League (BNFYL) has alleged sabotage after a political rally planned for Botshabelo in the Selebi-Phikwe East constituency flopped over the weekend.

Speaking to Mmegi in an interview this week, BNFYL spokesperson, Maikgantsho Ramontsho said the rally flopped because some people in the party are against the league due to its open support for Duma Boko.

"We organised the rally well on time and Dimpho Moruti, who holds the party public address system for the constituency, decided to lock it in his house.  Moruti decided to attend a meeting that was addressed by Odirile Gaborone in Mmadinare. He belongs to the team that is campaigning for Gaborone and that is clouding his judgement," he said.
