The Botswana National Front (BNF) Women’s League vice president, Norah Nkwe has resigned from the party.

Nkwe is the councillor for Old Kgosing ward in Tlokweng. She resigned from her party last Wednesday citing unhappiness with the way her primary election complaint was handled.

The primaries were held in July and the verdict for their appeal by the constituency appeals committee was delivered last week Tuesday. The appeals took four months without being decided on, something that angered the appellants. One of her complaints is that the constituency appeals committee has failed to call them for hearing or ask them to bring evidence on the issues she raised on the appeal. Nkwe lost the party primaries to Mothusi Seakgosing.
