At the time of his death, Kgotlele was the Leshibitse village chief. According to official announcement from the Kgatleng tribal leadership, a memorial service for Kgotlele will be held tomorrow at the Leshibitse kgotla. "It is with great sadness to announce the passing on of Kgosi Mooketsi Tosh Kgotlele of Leshibitse village in the Kgatleng District. Kgosi Kgotelele passed on 08 May 2024," reads a statement.
