BNF wants unofficial social media disbanded

The Botswana National Front (BNF) has threatened to take action against all administrators of unofficial social media platforms bearing the name of the organisation.

The BNF central committee resolved that all social media platforms used in the build up to the congress should immediately be disbanded. “If administrators of those accounts do not do so, then stern action will be taken against them by party leadership,” BNF secretary general, Moeti Mohwasa said yesterday when addressing the media.

The BNF central committee met over the weekend, the first meeting since it was elected last month.
