BNF to chart Tonota North strategy

The Botswana National Front (BNF) politburo meeting over the weekend resolved to send vice-president Isaac Mabiletsa to meet with members in the northern region to plot the party's strategy for the Tonota North by-election.

In an interview with Mmegi, publicity chief Moeti Mohwasa said yesterday the BNF, which is cooperating with other opposition parties to campaign for Botswana Congress Party (BCP) candidate Dr Habaudi Hubona, intends to play a substantive role in the by-election to be held on September 4.

Meanwhile, the BNF central committee has sent secretary general Akanyang Magama and international affairs secretary Mephato Reatile to South Africa to attend a world conference dubbed 'Africa Left Networking' in Johannesburg.
