Boko made the remarks during the party’s 60th anniversary gala dinner, where reflection, unity, and planning dominated proceedings.

Addressing members and supporters, Boko stressed the importance of remembering the party’s roots whilst keeping sight of its future ambitions. He said the BNF’s journey has been shaped by sacrifice, resilience, and unwavering commitment from its members over decades.

“We have not forgotten our comrades,” Boko said. “As your President, I know families, members, and individuals who suffered for this party for nearly six decades. Some missed promotions, others lost job opportunities, and many families sacrificed their resources for the cause.”
