FRANCISTOWN: The bosom friendship of a Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) councillor and his Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) colleague has ended acrimoniously after the former hauled the latter before the Small Claims Court yesterday.

The BMD councillor for Tshwaragano ward, Gaone Majere has finally registered a case before the small claims court seeking to recoup money from BDP councillor for Boikhutso ward, Themba Mbambo who allegedly damaged his car after he borrowed it.

Majere’s bone of contention is that on June 24 at around 4pm he lent Mbambo his Golf GTI who wanted to get something at Gerald Estates.
