BMC inquiry wants further probe on Prasad contract

In the report released yesterday, the Mephato Reatile led committee, stated that the investigation by the Directorate on Corruption and Economic Crime should establish whether the contract execution violated the law.
The committee further recommended that the DCEC should investigate the lawfulness of substantial allowances paid to the BMC board members in respect of board meetings held outside Botswana and ancillary allowances paid to them during the period 2006 - 2012.
