Two friends, who are facing murder charges for allegedly torching two sisters to death in their home in Block 3, have given contradicting facts in their individual statements.

In statements seen by Mmegi, the two murder accused, Caroline Gwamolamba (38) and Bakang Godisang (26) gave their side of the story on the incident that rocked the country.

In separate statements, the two say that in December they followed Gwamolamba’s soldier ex-boyfriend. The man had dumped Gwamolamba and had moved on with the now deceased Tuelo Mokgalo. The two women say they followed his trail for the whole of that day until he finally retired back to his now girlfriend’s home in Block 3.
