This year workers will once again gather in numbers to remember their struggles. The struggle for emancipating of workers from exploitation.

The commemoration of May Day this year will be held at Tsholofelo Park in Gaborone. The Guest of Honour will be His Honour the Vice President, Mokgweetsi Masisi.

With this theme, Botswana Federation of Trade Unions (BFTU) also takes into consideration the fact that our commemoration will be a few months early to the national jubilee of the 50th anniversary of independence.
