BERA mourns Mogae

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Botswana Energy Regulatory Authority (BERA), Never Tshabang, has conveyed heartfelt condolences to the nation following the passing of former President Festus Mogae, who died last Friday morning at the age of 86.

In a message of condolence issued on behalf of the authority, Tshabang described Mogae as a distinguished statesman whose leadership, wisdom and dedication to public service played a significant role in shaping Botswana’s economic and institutional development.

“We join the nation in mourning the loss of a remarkable leader who devoted his life to serving Botswana with integrity, humility and vision. His contribution to nation-building and his steadfast commitment to good governance will remain part of his enduring legacy,” said Tshabang.
