BDP suspends Molao's challenger

FRANCISTOWN: The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) has suspended Onakabetse Daniel, the man who challenged and lost the primaries against the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tonota North Fidelis Molao.

“Yes we have suspended Onkabetse Daniel from the party last week for offences he has committed,” said the BDP executive secretary Sechele Sechele on Wednesday.

But instead of advancing reasons for the decision, Sechele insisted Mmegi talk to Daniel as,  “He might be the one who told you about the suspension. Phone him so that he can explain in detail what are the reasons. I am not in the office and do not have details of the case with me now.”
