FRANCISTOWN: Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) heads to Mogoditshane Senior Secondary School next week Friday for its special congress buoyed by the recent snatching of the Okavango MP Bagalatia Arone to its fold.

The ruling party however, goes to its special meet with low-key political fires burning within its ranks, which has a potential to explode if not handled properly.

Although the special congress officially will be a continuation of last year’s Mmadinare elective congress resolutions, it may set stage for the party’s presidential race, which has apparently been fought stealthily without open battles as the party discourages that.
