The weekend Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) national council in Gaborone has revealed how the ruling party continually puts pressure on its government to deliver on key issues.

A sneak peek into the BDP secretary general’s report presented at the Maharaj event hints that government’s latest development initiative, the Economic Stimulus Package (ESP), may be a reaction to the ruling party’s call for speedy land allocation and employment creation.

In his report, Botsalo Ntuane notes progress made at government level with regard to the party agenda adopted at the Mmadinare Congress last year.
