BDF officers remanded in custody

The four Botswana Defence Force (BDF) officers, accused of the murder of John Kalafatis, have been remanded in custody.

Yesterday, assistant commissioner, Christopher Mbulawa said Dzikamani Mothobi, Goitsemang Sechele, Ronny Matako and Boitshoko Maifala were immediately after the pronouncement by the Magistrate, 'our officers took them to C.I.D cars'. "The suspects have been remanded at Prisons," Mbulawa said.

Mbulawa further revealed that the four men were neither in police custody prior to being arraigned before court on Friday nor that morning.
