Ready to Lead: Kapinga was taken on constituency familirisation tour

FRANCISTOWN: The Botswana Congress Party (BCP) has reportedly taken Kenny Kapinga on a familiarisation tour of the Okavango constituency before he could officially be welcomed into the party.

Kapinga quit the public service in July this year having served most notably as the deputy police commissioner and Botswana’s high commissioner, and ambassador to South Africa and Zimbabwe respectively.

Since then, the former police boss has been heavily linked with BCP and has been tipped to be the party’s Okavango parliamentary candidate at the 2019 general elections.
