BCP CC leaves Samoka furious

Following the recent Botswana Congress Party (BCP) Youth League elective congress, youth leader Brian Samoka has expressed deep disappointment over what he calls an unfair decision by the party’s Central Committee (CC) for being overlooked for the presidency.

During the congress, a highly competitive race resulted in a tie between Samoka and Tebogo June, with both candidates receiving 194 votes each.

The third contender, Bonnie Tlhagwane, trailed behind with 91 votes.
