Batlokwa royals block 'nudity' beach party

Tlokweng authorities fiercely opposed the hosting of the Beach Party in their backyard on Saturday as bogosi, sub-district council and police all fought hard to frustrate the event.

Batlokwa royals,  the local sub-district authority and the Tlokweng Police were on Saturday determined to block the Annual Beach Party which was being hosted in Tlokweng for the first time this year. In fact, they prevailed for six hours as heavy police presence at the gate turned fun lovers away.

There was only frustration for revelers throughout the morning  until midday on Saturday as the police presence and the Batlokwa royals ensured that there would be no Beach party in their territory until the organisers gave them a court order later in the afternoon, forcing the police to leave them alone.
