BAS to propel economy through research

Speaking to members of the press Monday, Mokotedi said the non-profit science organisation will bring together scientists who have been working in fragmentation to play an advisory role to government on matters of national importance.
“The BAS will act as a mouthpiece within the research, science and technology sector and help the country build a foundation for a knowledge based economy. Looking at the importance of this association, government through MIST will make sure that this association does not die,” he said.
