Bangwato, Sebina chieftainship dispute erupts

The BB1 Kgotla in Sebina village belongs to Bangwato tribe from Serowe as they (Bangwato chiefs) built it decades ago before the country gained independence as their resting place on their way from Serowe to Nswazwi during their battle with the Bakalanga ba-ka Nswazwi.
Later on, the Bangwato handed over this kgotla to eight villages of Marobela, Nshakazhogwe, Marapong, Kombani and Sebina named Ma-nsha-ma-ko-se (Manshamakose) to benefit from this kgotla’s chieftainship.
