PALAPYE: In a bid to fight the challenge of youth unemployment, Botswana Accountancy College (BAC) recently trained 100 youths in business basics in a workshop held in Palapye.

BAC acting head of marketing, Monei Nthebolang said the institution takes pride in empowering young people in the country because they are the main group affected by unemployment. Speaking during a graduation ceremony for the youths, Nthebolang said BAC strives to offer programmes that are relevant to the labour market.

“One could open up a small business and turn it into a larger one, thus creating jobs for other youth.  We are proud to say we produce job market products and we shall continue partnering with relevant stakeholders to fight unemployment in the country,” she said.
