Another beast hacked to death

MOCHUDI: Another beast has reportedly been killed at Moelole farmlands, seven kilometres from Morwa village in Kgatleng. The owner, Mike Sentsho, says he found the carcass of the beast lying inside a vegetable garden belonging to a Zimbabwean national who has employed other Zimbabweans to grow spinach and tomatoes.

Two of the employees are still being investigated for hacking five beasts with an axe, killing two of them. Sentsho believes a sharp instrument was used to kill the latest beast, but it was not an axe.

Assistant Superintendent Wazha Zambezi of Mochudi Police Station confirmed last week that the police were interrogating three Zimbabwean nationals aged between 20 and 25 concerning the killing of two beasts.
