An ARV And Condom Making Outfit Sets Up In Botswana

A pharmaceutical factory manufacturing Anti-Retroviral Drugs, is to be commissioned late 2011 in Selibe-Phikwe.

Gemi Pharmacure, a subsidiary of the Gemi Group, will make generic anti-retrovirals (ARVs) and other pharmaceutical products to treat HIV/AIDS and related opportunistic diseases.

Through another subsidiary, the Gemi Group will start an export oriented condom manufacturing plant in Lobatse in December.
