Alleged hitman faces second charge

Few weeks after he was committed to stand trial for the murder of Thato Meswele, alleged hitman Hamadi Nkhuha, 47, was slapped with another charge of entering Botswana through ungazzeted point of entry.

Nkhuha jointly charged for Meswele’s murder with the deceased’s former brother in law, Ernest Legwale and Dzichanaka Davie appeared before Broadhurst Chief Magistrate Faith Ngandu.

State prosecutor Oamogetswe Gaboutwelwe told court that Nkhuha unlawfully remained in Botswana from January 24, 2017 to February 19, 2018, the day he was arrested at Mmopane village.
