A man of honour from Botswana

Honorary Counsel Samuel Mpuchane represents Finland in Botswana, and hopes that these two sparsely populated countries can learn to combine their know-how to create new businesses, JUHO PAAVOLA investigates.

Samuel Mpuchane sees his work as an honour, not a job. "But sometime soon I could still make way for someone younger, if a suitable person could be found."

"The problem with diamonds is that their market is extremely sensitive. That's one reason why we have to try to diversify our economy by developing tourism and our other services, and industry," Mpuchane said.
