An estimated 60,000 Batswana queued to get miracle water and miracle oil from popular South African pastor, Stephen Zondo at Ditshupo Hall in Gaborone during a three-day crusade by his church, Rivers of Living Water Ministry (RLM).

The miracle water, said to make bad luck disappear and unlock doors of blessings, prosperity and healing, was a hit with the seemingly desperate crowd. An elated church elder, South African Leka Mofokeng who says he was behind putting together all the logistics for the Gaborone crusade estimates that it was full-house from day one on Thursday last week. He could not believe the turn out. With a smile, Mofokeng says next time, they may have to look for a 60,000 seater stadium when they make another trip to Botswana.

This was Zondo's first ever crusade outside South Africa, where his popularity has attracted both negative and positive comments. One radio station, Thetha FM being was ordered to close down in South Africa after it accused the pastor of satanism, resulting in uncontrollable riots and loss of lives. The miracle water or holy water according to Mofokeng is made at the church's factory that purifies water for human consumption in South Africa. For the Botswana crusade, thousands of the bottled water in 500ml, 10 litres, 15 litres were bused in and the demand has been unbelievable.
