According to the event organiser, Uyapo Tshambani, the event will bring back the old memories of the lifestyle of the 70s, 80’s and 90’s generations. He added that the event would also introduce the younger generation to the way of life of the past. He indicated that it will be a full-day celebration of vintage culture, featuring pop-up exhibitors, classic items display, live performances, and more. It aims to create job opportunities and promote local artisans while also entertaining residents and visitors alike. He said some of the legendary DJs who will be mesmerising the audience are DJ Dreazy, Phat, DJ Zuu, Cue Deck, Flayke, Soul, Tiivaro, Poster Da DJ & Live Band. Pablo also stated that the safety of the attendants will not be compromised as security will be upped for this year’s edition. “The security of our patrons and their valuables is what we value the most,” he added. He said they have engaged a local security company and bouncers who will be responsible for security.
