Market leaders in premium licensed digital content, ViB Mobile, a subsidiary of ViB Group, has announced that it has paid over P250,000 in royalties to local musicians.

“We at ViB Mobile recognise the economic impact of COVID–19 towards the Creative Industry and so, hopes the funds will be of some great assistance towards the artists. We are pleased to have supported our local artists in every way we can, more especially during times like these when events have been brought to a halt due to the pandemic that’s ongoing,” ViB Mobile, sales and marketing executive, Thuto Sedimo wrote in a press release.

He added that this initiative was meant, amongst many, to boost artist digital sales, generate lucrative revenue streams for them and promote patriotism for the arts in the country.
