The inaugural Next Big Electronic Dance Music (EDM) DJ auditions brought a variety of talent from upcoming disc jockeys who battled it out at Chez Nicolas on Saturday.

The auditions attracted more than 40 aspiring EDM DJs who battled it out on the decks with the aim of being the better disc jockey and qualify for the top 10, then sail to the finals where there is prize money of P20,000.

Most of the contesting DJs were young men with some familiar faces who are already playing at parties and as resident DJs at different nightspots of Gaborone. They were given 10 minutes each on the decks to show what they are capable of doing. They displayed different skills and character on the decks.
