Teacobouy set to release debut single

The song is a melodic folk-inspired tune that blends acoustic guitar with cultural percussion and orchestral elements. In an interview, artist shared that the idea behind "Marago Kgosing" was to create a unique sound that showcases Botswana's rich cultural heritage. The song tells the traditional way of dikgosi choosing women with the biggest behind for queenship. It also highlights the importance of polygamy in the past. Teacobouy started his music journey in 2009, learning guitar and music production. He formed his current band Sempekhubidu in 2017.

He has been performing live since 2011. As a solo artist, he is managed by Black Gypsy.
