A number of Shumba Ratshega's fans thronged Millennium Jazz Restaurant on Saturday to witness their favourite artist's new album, Raselepe being performed live on stage on Saturday.

The album has six songs namely: Tshwene, Thapa Reje, Raselepe, Jerusalema, Botshelo and Mmamokadelo. Shumba Ratshega and his group got approval from the audience that danced the night away. Famed with his song, 'Leso La Monnamogolo,' Shumba's fans did not hold back but demanded that he performs it and he did adhere to their request and sung it together with some of his old songs. That thrilled his fans who could not hide their excitement when some even commended him for possessing such immense talent. Many asked if Ratshega, who has been off the radar for some time as he has been focusing on his calling of being a prophet, was back to the entertainment industry. But that question remains unanswered.

In an interview with him, he was not sure adding that 'everything before was because of God.' Ratshega had not been performing for a while, focusing on leading his church. Many are hopeful that the talented artist will continue serving God whilst also making beautiful traditional songs and dance music since he possesses a great talent. Moreover, as it is a norm, Vee Mampeezy also gave his fans a sterling performance. His former dancers including Coming Soon got onto the stage to show his new dancers why they remain the kings of dance. Bu that did not scare the young lads as they also proved to them why they were hired to be Mampeezy 's dancers. The two groups battling up on stage left the audience mesmerised as the performance got more interesting. Vee Mampeezy sung both his old and new songs reminding the audience why he still remains the master of the entertainment industry and also one of the country's best performers. On the other hand, the former Dikakapa singer, Tshumu also performed some of his songs with his former traditional dance group while also sharing with the audience his new song that he said will be officially released soon.

The establishment of the Education Infrastructure and Management Company Ltd (EIMC) signals that authorities are finally ready to take this problem seriously. We must commend the government for this initiative....
