Sereetsi & the Natives are launching a social media campaign dubbed Ke Motswana, as a build-up to the group’s CD launch billed for Maitisong on November 6, 2015. The campaign is geared towards encouraging Batswana to take pride in their culture and country.

It would involve Batswana from various walks of life posting various personal statements on why they take pride in their country and in being its citizens.

Group lead, Tomeletso Sereetsi, noted that their product has more value beyond just entertainment.

“As Sereetsi & the Natives, we recognise that our product is more than entertainment. It is a vehicle through which our people get to appreciate their beauty and greatness.

And one through which outsiders get to appreciate our uniqueness,” he said.

A number of well-known personalities have already pledged their support for the campaign, which it is hoped, will interest the general populace to participate in it.

Sereetsi & the Natives released their debut album titled, Four String Confessions in May. The album created a lot of interest, especially songs like Thaa Kokome, Robete, and Ke Boletsa Mongwe.
