San Adreas is a 2015 3D disaster film, which follows the exploits of our protagonist and their attempts to avert, escape or cope with the disaster and its aftermath. The story line unfolds as the infamous San Andreas Fault finally gives in, triggering the biggest ever 9.6 magnitude earthquake in California. In the aftermath a search and rescue helicopter pilot (Johnson) is faced with finding his estranged wife (Carla Gugino) and embarking on a dangerous rescue mission journey from Los Angeles to San Francisco to save their only daughter (Alexandra Daddario). But their treacherous journey north is only the beginning.
