Pantsula Power: A call to action against social Ills

This weekend, the vibrant town of Phikwe will be the hub of cultural expression and community engagement as the Botswana Pantsula Association hosts its Opening Ceremony and Parade.

The event, scheduled for March 7, 2026, promises to be an unforgettable experience, with 44 affiliated branches from across the country converging to make a statement against social ills.

"We are convening to give back to, and address pressing issues like GBV, substance abuse, and theft," says Laki Kunene, Chairperson of the Botswana Pantsula Association. The event will feature a parade, with participants donning their finest Pantsula attire, including Brentwood, Carduccis, and Navada, among others.
