As it is a norm, the highly anticipated third annual Mabaila Foundation Clap and Tap was on fire with those in attendance enjoying the Gospel event to the fullest on Saturday at the University of Botswana (UB) Sports Arena.

However, the sound system was bad. But that did not shake the choirs, artists and even the Masters of Ceremony for the day as they gave the show their all. The audience joined in and enjoyed the event, singing and dancing the night away. From the look of things, some of them did not even notice that the sound that kept having glitches was that bad as all they focused on was to praise the Lord. They sang along the performers of the night and went with the flow. The event had a sermon where pastors, Mookamedi Tube and De bruin De bruin preached and prayed for attendees before the choirs worked their magic on the stage. Two co-hosts from Motsweding FM, Modisane Modise and Pastor Israel Motsamai brought light to the venue as they kick-started their MCeeing by giving shout out to the audience representing different villages and places in Botswana.

While doing their job, they kept on giving motivational talks, encouraging the audience to dream big and also told them that it was not their fault that they were in situations they found themselves in, such as being born in poverty, being abandoned by their fathers, and being unemployed. They assured them that they will make it in life as long as they believe in God. They gave the event a vibe with their immeasurable energy. During their installment, Angels of God choir delivered a splendid performance. Their attire, dance and singing was breath taking. The women wore royal blue dresses while the gentlemen looked stunning in their navy blue suits. While preparing to blow the audience away with a beautiful performance, the hosts warmed the audience up singing Sa Rialo Sefofu engaging the audience. The choir kick-started the show singing Eloyi Ya Mabasakatane before going on to sing Ragoga Masole and others. The clapping and tapping was on point, prompting the audience to join in. Meanwhile, Bana ba Lesedi in navy blue uniform with white berets for women sang songs like Bamba Mzalwane, Setlhabelo Saka, Emmanuel (lebitso la ngwana ke mang) and many other songs got the arena dancing and singing when the choir outdid itself dishing out one of the best performance so far. With her usual energies, South African Sione gospel artist, Winne Mashaba got on stage and did her magic.
